QHA Trent Standards

It has comprehensive documented standards for QHA Trent’s healthcare providers. These standards are divided into “general standards” and “specific standards”. It is also available in a set called “additional standards”.

General standards; It covers not only the clinical health service application reflected directly on the patient but also the general governance practices of the health facility.

Specific standards, on the other hand, are standards that are prepared especially for the types of healthcare services in hospitals and clinics and focused on certain issues. Such as the independent accreditation for the Endoscopy unit or Gama Knife unit they want to highlight worldwide within the accredited hospital. This situation can roughly be compared to the fact that a physician who is a Child Health and Diseases Specialist, is doing top specialization on Child Endocrinology.

Additional standards are those related to activities that are not found in hospital or clinical settings, but that are important to properly implement to ensure patients’ health and well-being. For example, checking whether an outsourced laundry service meets the standards associated with that service.

You can see the list of standards list titles given below.

All QHA Trent standards are evidence-based, mainly based on clinical governance principles operating in the UK and adhered to by the National Health Service (NHS) and private sector healthcare in the UK. In this way, QHA Trent accreditation documents that healthcare services are provided at UK standards.

Standards are mainly referred to and associated with reputable expert resources (eg the World Health Organization, the United Nations, or the World Bank), mainly in the UK, Europe and geographically farther afield.
